At the moment, Vietnam Immigration Services provides Visa services for people who love to travel to Vietnam with both paper visa and evisa with the intention of tourism. Depending on your nationality, each citizen can apply for an eVisa or a paper visa. From August 2023, about 200 countries and regions are eligible to apply for an eVisa.
Vietnam eVisa
The Vietnam eVisa is a document issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department that allows foreigners from 200 countries and regions to stay in Vietnam for 90 days with both single or multiple entries. Foreigners can easily check evisa eligibility at Check Vietnam Visa Requirements.

There are two kinds of fees that you have to pay when applying for a Vietnam eVisa, which are Service Fee and Government Fee.
Vietnam eVisa Service Fees
The Vietnam eVisa service fee is the amount that the applicant has to pay in advance for service during a Vietnam eVisa processing from consulting about the Vietnam eVisa, receiving, checking the applicant's personal information, informing the status and results to collecting the eVisa from the Vietnamese Government then sending it to the applicant in order to get their visa stamped when arriving at the Vietnamese ports.

eVisa Processing Time
- Normal: For travelers who want to obtain eVisa within 03 business days.
- Urgent: For travelers who want to obtain eVisa within 02 business days.
- Super Urgent: For travelers who want to obtain eVisa within 01 business day.
Vietnam eVisa Government & Admin Fee
The Government & Admin Fee is the amount that applicators have to pay to the Vietnamese government on approving your eVisa at a reasonable cost. Travelers please keep in mind that Government & Admin Fees can not be refundable once you submit your Vietnam eVisa application.

Vietnam Visa - Paper Application
There are two kinds of Vietnam visa fees that you have to pay to get an approval letter to Vietnam, including visa fee and visa stamping fee.
1. Vietnam Visa Approval Letter
An approval letter is a document issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department that authorizes you to enter Vietnam for a set amount of time. This is the electronic document for travelers boarding the flight and can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport. You will be denied entry to Vietnam if you do not have an approval letter. The authorities at the airport will examine the data on the permission letter based on your passport and travel documents before stamping your passport.
The holder of a Vietnam Visa Approval Letter can enter Vietnam through 03 airport:
- Tan Son Nhat International Airport - SGN - Ho Chi Minh City
- Noi Bai International Airport - HAN - Ha Noi
- Da Nang International Airport - DAD - Da Nang
Visa Fee
Visa fee is the amount that the applicant has to pay in advance during a Vietnam visa online application. This fee covers from consulting, receiving, checking the applicant's personal information, informing the status and result, collecting the approval visa letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department then sending it to the applicant in order to get their visa stamped at the Vietnam Airports when arriving.

Stamping Fee
Please notice that travelers are required to pay US $50.00/Per person in cash at the airport when arriving for stamping their visa by Immigration Officers.
2. Vietnam Visa For Special Nationalities
Some special nationalities can not apply for an eVisa or a Visa Approval Letter, however, they can still apply for a Paper Visa - Single entry for up to 1 month, include:

Please notice that travelers are required to pay US $25.00/Per person in cash for the stamping fee at the airport when arriving.
